Write every digit of your birth date and add them together. Continue reducing the total until you reach 1 through 9, unless your method preserves 11, 22, or 33 as master numbers.

For October 24, 1992: 1 + 0 + 2 + 4 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 28; 2 + 8 = 10; 1 + 0 = 1. The life path is 1.

An Alternate Component Method

Some numerologists reduce month, day, and year separately before adding them. Using the same date: month 10 becomes 1, day 24 becomes 6, and year 1992 becomes 3. Then 1 + 6 + 3 = 10, reducing to 1.

Most dates produce the same result, but master-number handling can create differences. State which method you use.

Master Numbers 11, 22 & 33

If the final total is 11, 22, or 33, many systems stop reducing. Eleven is linked with inspiration, 22 with practical vision, and 33 with compassionate teaching.
